8、Bearing in mind the “Emergency Service Hotline” & registering contact information in the “Online Registration System" to stay safe in mainland China

To strengthen emergency services for Taiwanese citizens visiting mainland China, the MAC launched the "Online Registration System for Taiwanese Citizens Visiting Mainland China" on its website (https://www.mac.gov.tw) on January 16, 2023. The MAC encourages students and parents to register their personal and contact information in the system, with which the government can get in immediate contact with them and provide necessary assistance and services in the event of an emergency during their stay in mainland China. In the future, the MAC and the SEF will continue to take care of Taiwanese students in mainland China.
