What are the functions of the Office of Macau Affairs under the Mainland Affairs Council?

In response to the changed status of Macau after 1999, the MAC established the Office of Macao Affairs  on December 20, 1999 (recently renamed locally as the the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Macau on July 4, 2011). In line with the restructuring of the MAC,the Bureau has been renamed as the Office of Macao Affairs on July 2,2018. Its functions are as follows:

Organization of the Office of Macao Affairs Services
Services Division Travel document applications, document verification, emergency assistance for Taiwanese nationals, and other related services
Liaison Division Trade and economic, and investment affairs and promote academic, cultural, and educational exchanges with Macau
General Affairs Division Data collection, research, and general affairs
