MAC announces registration schedule for journalists covering ‘Second Chiang-Chen Talks’

The Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) announces the registration time for journalists covering the “Second Chiang-Chen Talks” today. All journalists who have applied for press credentials should register at the Song Bo (Pine) Room on the tenth floor of the Grand Hotel Taipei between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. on November 2. To collect press credentials, journalists are required to bring ID and the notice of approval.

The MAC points out that the organizer of the talks will set up the Second Chiang-Chen Talks Press Center in the International Conference Room and the Song Bo Room on the tenth floor at the Grand Hotel Taipei. The Press Center will be open daily between 8 a.m. and 2 a.m. of the next day from November 3 to November 6. A service counter, Internet access, fax machines, and beverage will be provided for journalists at the Press Center.

To detail journalists about the schedule and locations of interviews during the talks, and other pertinent matters, the organizer will hold a one-hour briefing at the International Conference Room starting at 4 p.m. on November 2. The organizer welcomes all journalists with press credentials to attend the briefing.
