Ans: The reciprocal establishment of institutions by the SEF and the ARATS was an issue on the agenda of the SEF-ARATS negotiations on March 21, 2013. To date, the two sides have held nine talks on related operational matters. The government will, based on the relevant procedures of the Cross-Strait Agreement Supervisory Act passed by the Legislative Yuan, continue to communicate and explain to all sides to achieve public participation and congressional oversight. It will also conduct national security reviews and related preparatory work for follow-up negotiations.
