Johnnason Liu, Chairman of the Taiwan–Hong Kong Economic and Cultural Co-operation Council (ECCC), was invited to attend the 3rd Economic Forum co-organized by Hong Kong Economic Time, Beijing-based Economic Daily and Taiwan-based Economic Daily News (3rd Economic and Financial Forum) to be held in Hong Kong on April 25th, and will also serve as a panelist on the "Taiwan, Mainland, and Hong Kong Economic Cooperation and Chinese Branding" session. This will be Chairman Liu's first public appearance in Hong Kong since taking the helm at the ECCC.
During his stay in Hong Kong, Chairman Liu will not only attend the “3rd Economic and Financial Forum”, but will also meet with Chairman Charles Lee of the Hong Kong–Taiwan Economic and Cultural Co-operation and Promotion Council, among others, to exchange views on all sorts of interactions such as economic, trade, and cultural cooperation between Taiwan and Hong Kong. Chairman Liu is scheduled to return to Taiwan after the forum closes on April 25.
